The car's computer should hold 4-digit fault code(s). Simple google search of the fault code number may assist with further fault diagnosis. Few ways to access those fault codes. Easiest may be via the footpedal procedure, or £3.99 delivered bluetooth device and an Android phone with a freebie app installed, or possibly via a laptop.
Disconnect the car battery for an hour in an attempt to reset all of the ECN codes stored. Step 2. Reconnnect battery and check that all codes have gone. Step 3. Start car and get fault to duplicate. Had the P0299, back on June. Was hitting hard 4th gear, with sport mode enabled, and all of the sudden, engine power reduce.
