The first GBA SP (AGS-001) allowed players to sit comfortably and see what was happening on-screen but the backlit AGS-101 model allowed the colors to pop off the screen. I distinctly remember quickly swapping games in and out to compare them to the memories I had of playing them on the earlier models when I first obtained a backlit GBA SP.
The GBA SP is just a redesign of the standard GBA. The case design you have is the tribal edition so it is one of Nintenodo's designs. I've also found another AGS-101 GBA SP for just 25 euros All GBA SP/original ("fat") DS chargers are compatible with all GBA SPs/"fat" DSs. You do not need to worry where your GBA SP came from, or even if it's an AGS-101 or AGS-001. Your primary concern should be the charger's compatibility with your country's power outlets - proper shape, proper voltage. TerryG and Metoroid0. . 47 136 87 287 342 449 337 397
